No one will be allowed in the Transfer Station without a Leeds Transfer Station pass. These are available at the Town Office for a fifty-cent fee. Only one pass is issued per household. Please keep this pass in your vehicle, not on it, so that it can be used in all your vehicles.Â
All household trash must be in Leeds Transfer Station bags.Â
These are available at the town office for $2 per bag or $18 for a bundle of ten.Â
The attendant has the right to open, inspect, and refuse bags containing anything not allowed in the bins.Â

There is no fee for using this dumpster.
NON-COMMERCIAL USE ONLY!
Items not allowed are subject to change without notice, so you may want to check with the attendant or Town Office ahead of time. Materials placed in this dumpster should not be larger than one person can handle. If the demolition dumpster is full, you will have to come back the next day the transfer station is open.
Examples of items not allowed: cardboard, household trash, and bagged items
Hazardous waste of any kind, including, but not limited to:
Small propane tanks (1 lb. 2 oz. size), pathological waste, chemicals, explosives, radioactive materials, toxic waste (including sewage), automobile parts, dead animals, asbestos shingles, computer monitors, oil-based paint, and brush.
If you are disposing of any kind of powered equipment, make sure there is no oil and/or gas in these items.
Refrigerators, freezers, or any other items that contain freon will not be accepted unless they have a sticker stating that the freon has been removed.  All freezers and refrigerators must have the doors removed.
